Lesotho Project Manager for the project “SMART/PHC” (SolidarMed Antiretroviral Treatment Project/Primary Health Care Project ”)

SoldarMed is a medium size Swiss NGO, dynamic, flexible and with a clear vision. It aims at capitalizing its experiences and at sharing its knowledge.

SMART supports the national strategy to upscale HIV/AIDS services through task-shifting and decentralization and more specific the provision of good quality ART to people living with HIV/AIDS in the catchment area of the two partner hospitals in the districts Thaba Tseka and Butha Buthe. SMART aims at establishing good quality decentralized ART, the integration of ART/TB care even more into routine services at health facilities and mainly as of 2013 into the primary health care services offered at different levels of the health care system. The PHC project focuses its support on village health workers and their link to the health system.
